How it works

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Orzhov Racketeers, adding CC.
2. When Orzhov Racketeers dies, its afterlife ability and Nim Deathmantle trigger.
3. Resolve the Orzhov Racketeers trigger, creating two 1/1 Spirit creature tokens.
4. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing a Spirit, adding CC.
5. Resolve the Nim Deathmantle trigger from step 2, causing you to pay 4 to return Orzhov Racketeers from your graveyard to the battlefield, and attach Nim Deathmantle to it.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the demise of Orzhov Racketeers into a self-sustaining engine by leveraging its own Afterlife 2 trigger to fuel the mana requirement. When you sacrifice the Racketeers to Ashnod's Altar, the resulting Spirit tokens provide the exact sacrifice fodder needed to generate the four mana demanded by Nim Deathmantle's revival trigger. Because the Deathmantle also re-equips itself to the Racketeers as it returns, the loop is completely self-contained, letting you endlessly churn out colorless mana, tokens, and death triggers at will.
