How it works

  1. Cast Hooded Hydra by paying 3G manaG mana, causing it to enter the battlefield with six +1/+1 counters on it.
  2. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Hooded Hydra, adding B mana.
  3. Hooded Hydra dies, creating twelve 1/1 Snake creature tokens.
  4. Activate Phyrexian Altar nine times by sacrificing nine Snakes, adding 7G manaG mana.
  5. Cast Disturbed Burial with buyback by paying 4B mana, returning Hooded Hydra from your graveyard to your hand, and returning Disturbed Burial to your hand.
  6. Repeat.
