How it works

1. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing Phyrexian Walker.
2. Cast Phyrexian Walker from your graveyard by paying 0. It will not enter with a finality counter on it due to Solemnity.
3. Repeat.

This clever loop turns graveyard recycling into an infinite engine by leveraging Leonardo, Sewer Samurai's ability to let you cast creatures with power or toughness 1 or less—such as Phyrexian Walker—directly from your graveyard. Normally, those creatures would enter with a finality counter and be exiled upon dying, but Solemnity shuts that restriction down completely by preventing all counters from being placed on creatures. With the penalty negated, you can sacrifice Phyrexian Walker to Thermopod for red mana, recast it for free with Leonardo, Sewer Samurai, and repeat the process endlessly for infinite red mana, sacrifices, and death triggers.
