How it works

1. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Phyrexian Walker
2. When Phyrexian Walker dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Phyrexian Walker from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
3. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability.
4. Cast Phyrexian Walker from the top of your library by paying 0 life.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop exploits a zero-cost artifact creature to cycle through your deck endlessly, fueled by the relentless graveyard-shuttling of Mortuary. By sacrificing Phyrexian Walker to Altar of Dementia, you trigger Mortuary to instantly place the Walker right back onto the top of your library instead of letting it rest. You can then recast the free artifact creature over and over again, allowing Gwenom, Remorseless to let you play it straight from the top of your library while bypassing its mana cost entirely by paying life instead.
