How it works

1. Activate the Spider with Thornbite Staff and Wolfhunter's Quiver attached by tapping it, dealing 1 damage to a creature an opponent controls and destroying it due to the Spider's deathtouch.
2. When the creature dies, Shelob and the Spider tapped in step 1 trigger.
3. Resolve the Shelob trigger, creating a token copy of the creature that died that is a Food artifact.
4. Resolve the Spider trigger, untapping it.
5. Repeat as desired. You can also repeat this loop whenever a creature enters the battlefield under an opponent's control.

This cunning loop turns your designated Spider—bolstered by Shelob, Child of Ungoliant—into an ultimate executioner by leveraging the equipment attached to it. Thornbite Staff grants the creature a repeatable ping ability and automatically untaps it whenever any creature dies, perfectly sustaining the carnage, while Wolfhunter's Quiver provides a backup tap-to-ping ability to get the ball rolling. Every time your sniper deals even a single point of lethal damage thanks to deathtouch, Shelob, Child of Ungoliant steps in to harvest the fallen foe, replacing the dead enemy with a docile Food artifact token and leaving your perpetually untapping machine ready to fire again.
