How it works

1. Cast Capture of Jingzhou by paying its mana cost, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
2. Move to your next turn. At the beginning of your precombat main phase, Echocasting Symposium's paradigm ability triggers, causing you to cast a copy of it from exile.
3. Resolve the copy, creating a token copy of Vampire Charmseeker
4. When the Vampire Charmseeker token enters, it triggers, returning Capture of Jingzhou from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Repeat.

This brilliant loop hinges on the unique delayed casting engine of Echocasting Symposium, which lets you repeatedly cast a free copy of the spell from exile during your first main phases once it has resolved. By targeting Vampire Charmseeker with that copied effect, the entering creature token triggers its own graveyard retrieval ability to pull Capture of Jingzhou right back to your hand. With the extra turn spell constantly recycled and recastable forever, you can chain endless turns together to completely lock out your opponents in Commander, Legacy, Oathbreaker, and Vintage.
