How it works

  1. Cast Time Walk by paying its mana cost, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
  2. Cast Ephemerate by paying W mana, blinking Vampire Charmseeker and exiling Ephemerate.
  3. When Vampire Charmseeker enters, it triggers, returning Time Walk from your graveyard to your hand.
  4. Move to your next turn. At the beginning of your upkeep, Ephemerate's rebound ability triggers, causing you to cast it from exile without paying its mana cost.
  5. Resolve Ephemerate, blinking Vampire Charmseeker.
  6. When Vampire Charmseeker enters, it triggers, returning Ephemerate from your graveyard to your hand.
  7. Repeat.

This vintage-legal loop achieves infinite turns by recycling your entire engine through a continuous blink cycle. You kick things off by casting Time Walk to secure your extra turns, then use Ephemerate to exile and return Vampire Charmseeker to the battlefield. Vampire Charmseeker’s entry trigger is the glue that holds the whole operation together, constantly pulling your spent spells back from the graveyard—Time Walk on the first iteration, and Ephemerate itself via its rebound ability on subsequent upkeeps. By repeatedly re-casting Ephemerate for free off rebound while trading cards back and forth from the graveyard to your hand, you lock down the game and take all the time in the world.
