How it works

1. Cast Scrollshift by paying its mana cost, blinking Abdel Adrian.
2. Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, returning Vampire Charmseeker and all other cards that were exiled with it to the battlefield.
3. Abdel Adrian and Vampire Charmseeker trigger.
4. Resolve the Vampire Charmseeker trigger, returning Scrollshift from your graveyard to your hand.
5. Holding priority, activate any number of nonland permanents you control by tapping them, adding at least enough mana to cast Scrollshift.
6. Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Vampire Charmseeker and the mana-producing permanents until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token for each permanent exiled this way.
7. Repeat.

This loop spins into motion by leveraging Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward to continuously exile your own board and flood it with Soldier tokens while generating an endless chain of enters-the-battlefield triggers. To keep the engine running, Scrollshift acts as the initial catalyst that blinks Abdel Adrian, which in turn drops Vampire Charmseeker onto the battlefield to claw Scrollshift right back out of your graveyard and into your hand. Every single iteration also lets you temporarily stash your mana-producing permanents under Abdel Adrian's exile effect and tap them for resources along the way, fueling the continuous casting of Scrollshift while churning through your deck to draw every card in it.
