How it works

  1. Cast Time Warp by paying its mana cost, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
  2. Cast Ephemerate by paying W mana, blinking Vampire Charmseeker and exiling Ephemerate.
  3. When Vampire Charmseeker enters, it triggers, returning Time Warp from your graveyard to your hand.
  4. Move to your next turn. At the beginning of your upkeep, Ephemerate's rebound ability triggers, causing you to cast it from exile without paying its mana cost.
  5. Resolve Ephemerate, blinking Vampire Charmseeker.
  6. When Vampire Charmseeker enters, it triggers, returning Ephemerate from your graveyard to your hand.
  7. Repeat.

This cunning recursive loop locks down the game by chaining infinite turns, fueled entirely by graveyard and exile manipulation. You start by casting Time Warp to secure an extra turn, while Ephemerate sets up the engine by blinking Vampire Charmseeker to fish Time Warp right back out of your graveyard. When your next upkeep rolls around, Ephemerate's rebound ability lets you cast it from exile for free to repeat the process, while Vampire Charmseeker smoothly returns Ephemerate to your hand every single time it re-enters the battlefield.
