How it works

1. Cast Saw in Half by paying 2, destroying Vampire Charmseeker and creating two token copies of it with base power equal to half the destroyed creature's power and base toughness equal to half the destroyed creature's toughness, rounding up each time.
2. When the Vampire Charmseeker tokens enter the battlefield, they trigger, returning Saw in Half and Sacrifice from your graveyard to your hand.
3. Cast Sacrifice by paying and sacrificing a Vampire Charmseeker token, adding an amount of equal to its mana value.
4. Repeat.

This clever black loop turns the recursive recursion of Vampire Charmseeker into an engine of endless black mana and triggers. By pointing Saw in Half at Vampire Charmseeker, you split the original creature into two discounted token copies whose entry triggers pull both Saw in Half and Sacrifice right back out of your graveyard. You then cash in one of those tokens to Sacrifice, generating a steady stream of black mana based on its mana value to fund the next iteration while leaving the other token ready to keep the chain alive.
