How it works

1. Cast Hangarback Walker either from your hand or from the top of your library by paying 0.
2. Hangarback Walker enters the battlefield and dies as a state-based action due to having zero toughness.
3. Mortuary triggers, putting Hangarback Walker on top of your library from your graveyard.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns Hangarback Walker into a self-recycling engine by exploiting its zero base toughness. When you cast it for zero mana, state-based actions immediately send it to the graveyard, triggering Mortuary to place it right back on top of your library. From there, Vizier of the Menagerie lets you peek at that top card and recast the creature repeatedly, fueling infinite deaths, enter-the-battlefield triggers, and storm count without ever needing to draw a single card.
