How it works

1. During your precombat main phase, activate Necrotic Ooze using Talas Researcher's ability by tapping it, causing you to draw a card.
2. Wizard Class triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Necrotic Ooze.
3. Activate Necrotic Ooze using Devoted Druid's second ability by putting a -1/-1 counter on it, untapping it.
4. Repeat.

By grafting the activated abilities of fallen creatures onto Necrotic Ooze, this synergy creates an ingenious self-sustaining loop right from your graveyard or battlefield. Tapping the Ooze to draw a card via Talas Researcher triggers Wizard Class at level 3, which places a +1/+1 counter on the Ooze to immediately cancel out the -1/-1 counter you need to spend to untap it using Devoted Druid's ability. This elegant counter-mitigation lets you tap and untap the Ooze an infinite number of times, cycling through your entire deck to fuel your victory.
