How it works

1. Activate Ray Fillet by paying 1 due to Training Grounds and removing a +1/+1 counter from a creature you control, causing you to draw a card.
2. Wizard Class triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Berta.
3. Berta triggers, adding 1.
4. Repeat.

This charming loop lets you turn the counter-manipulation of Ray Fillet, Man Ray into an endless cascade of cards and mana, heavily discounted by Training Grounds so its ability only costs a single mana to activate. Every time you draw from that engine, Wizard Class steps in at Level 3 to place a +1/+1 counter back onto Berta, Wise Extrapolator, which instantly pays you back with a mana of any color thanks to Berta's own triggered ability. It is a brilliant display of synergy where a turtle, a scholar, an enchantment, and a discount engine feed into one another for an unstoppable loop.
