How it works

1. Cast Walk the Aeons by paying its mana cost, taking an extra turn after this one.
2. At the beginning of your next upkeep, Progenitor Mimic triggers, creating a token copy of Skullwinder.
3. When the token Skullwinder enters the battlefield, it triggers itself, returning Walk the Aeons from your graveyard to your hand.
4. Repeat.

This cunning loop achieves infinite turns by recycling a single copy spell through your own graveyard. You begin by casting Walk the Aeons to secure an extra turn, letting you untap and move to your upkeep. At that moment, Progenitor Mimic’s triggered ability creates a fresh token copy of Skullwinder, which leverages its own enter-the-battlefield trigger to fish Walk the Aeons right back out of your graveyard and into your hand. Because the Progenitor Mimic making the token is not a token itself, this cycle happens reliably turn after turn, locking down the game through endless extra turns.
