How it works

1. Activate Zuran Orb by sacrificing Drownyard Temple.
2. Each Scouring Swarm you control triggers, creating a tapped token copy of itself.
3. Resolve the Zuran Orb ability.
4. If you control four or more Scouring Swarms, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing a Scouring Swarm, adding .
5. Repeat step 4 until you control three Scouring Swarms or until you have 3 available, whichever comes first.
6. Activate Drownyard Temple by paying 3, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Repeat.

With seven or more land cards already resting in peace, Scouring Swarm's triggered ability steps in every time a land is sacrificed to multiply your flying token copies exponentially. Once you have a sufficient swarm, you can cash them in using Ashnod's Altar to generate the colorless mana needed to repeatedly recur Drownyard Temple right back to the battlefield—fueling a self-sustaining cycle of endless sacrifices and tokens.
