How it works

1. Activate Coastal Hornclaw by sacrificing Drownyard Temple.
2. Each Scouring Swarm you control triggers, creating a tapped token copy of itself.
3. Resolve the Coastal Hornclaw ability.
4. If you control four or more Scouring Swarms, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing a Scouring Swarm, adding .
5. Repeat step 4 until you control three Scouring Swarms or until you have 3 available, whichever comes first.
6. Activate Drownyard Temple by paying 3, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Repeat.

This loop transforms simple land sacrifice into a cascading engine by using Coastal Hornclaw to feed Drownyard Temple directly into the graveyard. Once your graveyard holds at least seven lands, Scouring Swarm leverages those sacrifices to rapidly multiply its tapped token copies every time a land hits the bin. Ashnod's Altar then steps in to convert your rapidly growing swarm of insects into a steady stream of colorless mana, which funds Drownyard Temple's ability to pull itself straight back to the battlefield and keep the cycle going.
