How it works

1. Activate Lithatog by sacrificing Drownyard Temple.
2. Each Scouring Swarm you control triggers, creating a tapped token copy of itself.
3. Resolve the Lithatog ability.
4. If you control four or more Scouring Swarms, activate Thermopod by sacrificing a Scouring Swarm, adding .
5. Repeat step 4 until you control three Scouring Swarms or until you have 3 available, whichever comes first.
6. Activate Drownyard Temple by paying 3, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Repeat.

This ingenious engine transforms land recycling into an overwhelming swarm by leveraging Drownyard Temple's ability to pull itself back from the graveyard. Lithatog acts as the initial catalyst, sacrificing the Temple to fuel its own growth while sending the land straight to the graveyard where it belongs. Once you have at least seven land cards lingering there, Scouring Swarm's triggered ability steps in to multiply your flying threats exponentially every time a land is sacrificed. Finally, Thermopod acts as your sacrifice outlet and energy converter, cheerfully turning those disposable token copies into red mana that pays directly to bring Drownyard Temple back for another go-around.
