How it works

1. Activate Need for Speed by sacrificing Drownyard Temple.
2. Each Scouring Swarm you control triggers, creating a tapped token copy of itself.
3. Resolve the Need for Speed ability.
4. If you control four or more Scouring Swarms, activate Thermopod by sacrificing a Scouring Swarm, adding .
5. Repeat step 4 until you control three Scouring Swarms or until you have 3 available, whichever comes first.
6. Activate Drownyard Temple by paying 3, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Need for Speed to continually sacrifice Drownyard Temple as a land, which fuels Scouring Swarm's ability to flood the board with tapped token copies once your graveyard is sufficiently stocked. As your swarm grows exponentially, Thermopod steps in as the engine's powerhouse, converting those sacrificial fodder tokens into the red mana needed to recur Drownyard Temple from the graveyard. This seamless cycle lets you continually repeat the process for an infinite loop of sacrifices, death triggers, and red mana.
