How it works

1. Cast Wildwood Scourge by paying plus an additional amount of mana equal to Jackal's power minus 1.
2. Jackal triggers, copying the Wildwood Scourge spell and putting a +1/+1 counter on Jackal.
3. Resolve both Wildwood Scourge spells.
4. Cast Ego Erasure by paying 2, targeting yourself.
5. Put a +1/+1 counter on either Wildwood Scourge.
6. The other Wildwood Scourge triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
7. Repeat step 6 infinitely.
