Tolarian Kraken

How it works

1. Activate Selvala by tapping it, causing each player to reveal the top card of their library, then causing you to add and gain 1 life for each nonland card revealed this way, then causing each player to draw a card.
2. Tolarian Kraken triggers, causing you to pay 1 to untap Selvala.
3. Repeat.
4. NOTE: If everyone would happen to reveal a land, Selvala makes no mana, and therefore you will need to supplement mana to pay for Tolarian Kraken's trigger if you have no mana in your mana pool.

This crafty loop turns Selvala, Explorer Returned into a self-sustaining engine by tapping her to generate green mana and force a round of card draws through her parley ability. Each of those draws directly feeds Tolarian Kraken, allowing you to spend a single mana from the pool to untap Selvala and immediately restart the process. As long as the parley reveals enough nonland cards to offset the Kraken's activation cost, you can cycle through your deck while burying your opponents in endless cards and life.
