How it works

  1. Cast Invasion of Arcavios by paying 3U manaU mana.
  2. When Invasion of Arcavios enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Walk the Aeons from your graveyard to your hand, or searching your library for Walk the Aeons and putting it into your hand, if needed.
  3. Cast Walk the Aeons by paying 4U manaU mana.
  4. Brinelin triggers, returning Invasion of Arcavios to your hand from the battlefield.
  5. Resolve Walk the Aeons, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
  6. Repeat each turn.

This cunning loop puts an entire table on clockwork lockdown by chaining extra turns indefinitely, legal in formats like Commander and Vintage. It all revolves around recasting Invasion of Arcavios over and over, whose entering-the-battlefield trigger sets you up by fetching Walk the Aeons from your graveyard or library. Once you cast Walk the Aeons, its hefty mana value triggers Brinelin, the Moon Kraken to bounce Invasion of Arcavios right back to your hand so you can replay it on the next turn. Meanwhile, Invocation of the Founders (the backside of your Siege) sits ready to copy your instants and sorceries, and the buyback cost on Walk the Aeons can even be bypassed entirely since Brinelin handles the return duty instead of sacrificing your lands.
