How it works

1. Gain life.
2. Cleric Class triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth.
3. Herd Baloth triggers, creating a creature token.
4. When the creature token enters the battlefield, Verdant Sun's Avatar triggers, causing you to gain 5 life.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This elegant loop transforms any initial burst of lifegain into a self-sustaining engine of growth and reinforcement. The engine relies on Cleric Class to not only amplify your lifegain, but its Level 2 ability converts every single instance of gained life into a +1/+1 counter. That counter placement serves as the spark for Herd Baloth, which dutifully manufactures a 4/4 Beast token whenever it receives a counter. Finally, the arrival of that new token brings Verdant Sun's Avatar onto the scene, triggering its ability to restore life based on the creature's toughness and feeding right back into Cleric Class to keep the cascade spinning infinitely.
