How it works

1. Gain life.
2. Cleric Class triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale.
3. Basking Broodscale triggers, creating a creature token.
4. When the creature token enters the battlefield, Verdant Sun's Avatar triggers, causing you to gain 2 life.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop turns a simple spark of life into an unstoppable engine, fueled entirely by the synergy between your board and enchantments. Once Cleric Class reaches at least level 2, any initial lifegain triggers its ability to place a +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale. That counter placement in turn triggers Basking Broodscale's own ability, creating an Eldrazi Spawn token. As that token enters the battlefield, Verdant Sun's Avatar spots the new arrival and triggers to grant you life equal to its toughness, immediately feeding back into Cleric Class to restart the whole sequence with compounded growth.
