How it works

1. Gain life.
2. Cleric Class triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale.
3. Basking Broodscale triggers, creating a creature token.
4. When the creature token enters the battlefield, Lunarch Veteran triggers, causing you to gain 2 life.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This elegant loop begins with any initial instance of lifegain, which triggers Cleric Class to place a +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale. That counter placement causes Basking Broodscale's triggered ability to create an Eldrazi Spawn token, and the arrival of that new creature immediately prompts Lunarch Veteran to reward you with a life-gain trigger. Because Cleric Class increases your life gain, that event loops right back into the enchantment's triggered ability, allowing you to endlessly grow your Basking Broodscale, flood the board with tokens, and generate infinite colorless mana by sacrificing the Eldrazi Spawn.
