How it works

1. Activate Bartolomé del Presidio by sacrificing Kitchen Finks.
2. When Kitchen Finks dies, its persist ability triggers, returning Kitchen Finks from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Kitchen Finks enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to gain 3 life.
4. Cleric Class triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Kitchen Finks.
5. Resolve the Bartolomé del Presidio ability.
6. Repeat.

This loop turns a humble lifegain trigger into an engine of endless growth and sacrifice. By using Bartolomé del Presidio to repeatedly sacrifice Kitchen Finks, you exploit persist to bring the Finks back, though it would normally return neutralized with a -1/-1 counter. However, Cleric Class steps in to completely break the math: its passive replacement effect boosts your baseline lifegain while its Level 2 ability places a +1/+1 counter on Kitchen Finks every time you gain life. Because +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters immediately annihilate each other through state-based actions, that counter completely wipes away the persist counter, allowing Kitchen Finks to return fresh and ready to be sacrificed all over again.
