How it works

1. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing Kitchen Finks.
2. When Kitchen Finks dies, its persist ability triggers, returning Kitchen Finks from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Kitchen Finks enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing you to gain 3 life.
4. Cleric Class triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Kitchen Finks.
5. Repeat.

This loop transforms the humble Kitchen Finks into an infinite engine of life and red mana by leveraging the sacrifice outlet of Thermopod. Whenever the Finks meet their end, persist brings them back with a -1/-1 counter, but the lifegain triggered upon entry is amplified by Cleric Class's replacement effect. That boosted lifegain immediately triggers Cleric Class's second-level ability to place a +1/+1 counter on the Finks, which instantly annihilates the lingering -1/-1 counter through state-based actions. With the slate wiped clean, you are free to feed the Finks back into Thermopod's furnace over and over again, generating limitless resources.
