How it works

1. Gain life.
2. Cleric Class triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth.
3. Herd Baloth triggers, creating a creature token.
4. When the creature token enters the battlefield, Leyline of Vitality triggers, causing you to gain 2 life.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This elegant loop kicks off the moment you gain a single point of life, which is amplified by Cleric Class's static lifegain replacement effect to trigger Leyline of Vitality. That initial spark allows Cleric Class's level 2 triggered ability to place a +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth, which in turn awakens the Baloth's ability to spawn a 4/4 green Beast token. Every time that token or any other creature enters the battlefield, Leyline of Vitality triggers to feed you more life, seamlessly restarting the cycle and flooding the board with infinite tokens, counters, and life.
