How it works

1. Gain life.
2. Cleric Class triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale.
3. Basking Broodscale triggers, creating a creature token.
4. When the creature token enters the battlefield, Leyline of Vitality triggers, causing you to gain 2 life.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop turns a single instance of lifegain into a self-sustaining engine by connecting life, counters, and tokens into a closed circuit. It all begins when Leyline of Vitality rewards you with life whenever a creature enters the battlefield, which in turn fuels the Level 2 ability of Cleric Class to place a +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale. Basking Broodscale's triggered ability responds to that counter by spawning an Eldrazi token, whose arrival back on the battlefield triggers the Leyline once more to restart the cycle.
