How it works
- Gain life.
- Cleric Class triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale.
- Basking Broodscale triggers, creating a creature token.
- When the creature token enters the battlefield, Distinguished Conjurer triggers, causing you to gain 2 life.
- Repeat from step 2.
This elegant loop begins the moment you trigger any initial lifegain, allowing Cleric Class to place a +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale. That counter placement triggers Basking Broodscale to create an Eldrazi Spawn token, which in turn causes Distinguished Conjurer to trigger and reward you with 1 life. Because Cleric Class increases your lifegain by 1, that single life becomes two, continually feeding the enchantment's lifegain trigger to keep the entire engine running indefinitely.
