How it works

1. Gain life.
2. Cleric Class triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale.
3. Basking Broodscale triggers, creating a creature token and an artifact token.
4. When the artifact token enters the battlefield, Arbaaz Mir triggers, dealing 1 damage to each opponent and causing you to gain 2 life.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This elegant loop starts by triggering Cleric Class, which amplifies your life gain and places a +1/+1 counter onto Basking Broodscale. That counter prompts Basking Broodscale to spawn an Eldrazi token, which simultaneously triggers Peregrin Took's replacement effect to sweeten the deal with an extra Food token. Arbaaz Mir then capitalizes on these historic and artifact entries by draining your opponents and feeding life right back into Cleric Class, keeping the engine spinning indefinitely. With all those extra Foods and mana-producing tokens at your disposal, you can easily filter through your deck using Peregrin Took's built-in card draw to close out the game.
