How it works
- Gain life.
- Cleric Class triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale.
- Basking Broodscale triggers, creating a creature token.
- When the creature token enters the battlefield, Haliya triggers, causing you to gain 2 life.
- Repeat from step 2.
This infinite loop is sparked by any initial burst of life gain, which immediately triggers Cleric Class's Level 2 ability to place a +1/+1 counter on Basking Broodscale. Because counters are being added, Basking Broodscale triggers to create an Eldrazi Spawn token, whose entry onto the battlefield causes Haliya, Guided by Light to grant you 2 life. That new life gain seamlessly feeds back into Cleric Class to keep the chain moving, letting you endlessly grow Basking Broodscale, flood the board with tokens, and generate infinite colorless mana by sacrificing those Eldrazi Spawns.
