How it works

1. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Horde Ambusher.
2. When Horde Ambusher dies, Missy's first ability triggers, returning Horde Ambusher from your graveyard to the battlefield face down as a 2/2 Cyberman artifact creature.
3. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability, causing target player to mill cards equal to Horde Ambusher's power.
4. Activate Horde Ambusher's morph ability by revealing a red card from your hand, turning it face up.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the face-down casting mechanics of Horde Ambusher into an endless engine of mill and recurrence. By feeding Horde Ambusher into Altar of Dementia, you mill your opponents while triggering Missy, whose static-like trigger immediately snatches the fallen creature back from the graveyard and returns it to the battlefield face down as a 2/2 Cyberman artifact creature. Because it re-enters as a face-down creature, you can reset its identity by paying its morph cost to turn Horde Ambusher face up again, resetting its power so Altar of Dementia can sacrifice it right back.
