How it works

1. Play a basic Forest card from your hand.
2. Kodama and Toggo trigger.
3. Resolve the Kodama trigger, choosing to put nothing onto the battlefield from your hand.
4. Holding priority, activate the basic Forest by tapping it, adding .
5. Resolve the Toggo trigger, creating a Rock equipment artifact token.
6. When the Rock token enters the battlefield, Kodama triggers.
7. Holding priority, activate Living Twister's second ability by paying , returning the Forest from the battlefield to your hand.
8. Resolve the Kodama trigger, putting the Forest onto the battlefield from your hand.
9. When the Forest enters the battlefield, Toggo triggers.
10. Repeat from step 4.

This clever loop is forged by pairing Kodama of the East Tree with Toggo, Goblin Weaponsmith in the command zone, transforming a single land drop into an infinite workshop of creation. When you play a basic Forest, Toggo's landfall ability creates a Rock token, which in turn triggers Kodama's ability to cheat a permanent from your hand into play. To keep the engine running, Living Twister provides the necessary mechanical glue by utilizing green mana to bounce that very same basic Forest back to your hand, allowing you to replay it and restart the entire sequence. Through this symbiotic dance, you generate infinite landfall triggers and an endless supply of Rock tokens ready to be hurled at your foes.
