How it works

1. Play a basic Forest card from your hand.
2. Kodama and Greensleeves trigger.
3. Resolve the Kodama trigger, choosing to put nothing onto the battlefield from your hand.
4. Holding priority, activate the basic Forest by tapping it, adding .
5. Resolve the Greensleeves trigger, creating a 3/3 Badger creature token.
6. When the Badger enters the battlefield, Kodama triggers.
7. Holding priority, activate Living Twister's second ability by paying , returning the Forest from the battlefield to your hand.
8. Resolve the Kodama trigger, putting the Forest onto the battlefield from your hand.
9. When the Forest enters the battlefield, Greensleeves triggers.
10. Repeat from step 4.

This clever loop harnesses Kodama of the East Tree as a mana-value-matching engine that cascades every time a permanent enters your battlefield. By playing a basic Forest, you trigger both Greensleeves, Maro-Sorcerer to spawn a 3/3 Badger creature token and Kodama itself. As the Badger enters, Kodama's triggered ability lets you drop that same basic Forest right back into play from your hand, which in turn triggers Greensleeves to make another Badger. Living Twister completes the puzzle by using its green activation to bounce the tapped Forest back to your hand for a single mana, feeding it right back into Kodama's trigger and creating an infinite storm of landfalls, Badger tokens, and enter-the-battlefield effects.
