How it works

1. Play a basic Forest card from your hand.
2. Kodama and Sporemound trigger.
3. Resolve the Kodama trigger, choosing to put nothing onto the battlefield from your hand.
4. Holding priority, activate the basic Forest by tapping it, adding .
5. Resolve the Sporemound trigger, creating a 1/1 Saproling creature token.
6. When the Saproling enters the battlefield, Kodama triggers.
7. Holding priority, activate Living Twister's second ability by paying , returning the Forest from the battlefield to your hand.
8. Resolve the Kodama trigger, putting the Forest onto the battlefield from your hand.
9. When the Forest enters the battlefield, Sporemound triggers.
10. Repeat from step 4.

This clever loop transforms a simple land drop into an endlessly repeating ecosystem, using Kodama of the East Tree as the central engine that responds to tokens hitting the board. Every time a land enters, Sporemound generates a Saproling token, which in turn triggers Kodama to cheat a permanent from your hand right back onto the battlefield. To keep this cascade flowing without running out of real estate, Living Twister steps in to bounce that very same land straight back to your hand using the green mana you generated along the way.
