How it works

1. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Brotherhood Outcast.
2. When Brotherhood Outcast dies, Minion's Return triggers, returning Brotherhood Outcast from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. When Brotherhood Outcast enters the battlefield, it triggers, returning Minion's Return from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to Brotherhood Outcast.
4. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on a recursive loop of sacrifice and resurrection to fuel your triggers. You begin by using Umbral Collar Zealot to sacrifice Brotherhood Outcast, triggering Minion's Return from the graveyard to bring the Outcast right back to the battlefield. As Brotherhood Outcast re-enters, its triggered ability targets the very same Minion's Return in your graveyard, strapping it back onto the Outcast just in time to prepare for the next iteration. Meanwhile, Umbral Collar Zealot's sacrifice ability keeps the engine turning while giving you a steady stream of surveil triggers to dig through your library.
