How it works
- During your draw step, Nadir Kraken triggers, causing you to pay 1 to put a +1/+1 counter on it and creating a 1/1 Tentacle creature token.
- Activate Timestream Navigator by paying 2, tapping it and putting it on the bottom of your library, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
- Activate Jalira by paying 2, tapping it and sacrificing the Tentacle, causing you to reveal Timestream Navigator and put it onto the battlefield.
- Repeat each turn.
This clever loop lets you bend time to your will by continuously recycling a single creature through your library. During your draw step, Nadir Kraken's triggered ability rewards you for simply drawing a card by letting you pay {1} to grow larger and spawn a 1/1 blue Tentacle creature token. That very token serves as the necessary sacrifice to fuel Jalira, Master Polymorphist's tap ability, which digs through your library to find and cheat out Timestream Navigator. Once on the battlefield with the city's blessing active, Timestream Navigator can be tapped and tucked away to grant you an extra turn—and because Jalira guarantees you will always hit the Navigator off your topdeck, you can effortlessly repeat this cycle turn after turn to lock down the game.
