How it works

1. Activate Timstream Navigator by paying 2, tapping it and putting it from the battlefield onto the bottom of your library, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
2. Declare Cynical Loner as an attacker, or tap Cynical Loner by any other method.
3. At the beginning of your second main phase, Cynical Loner triggers, causing you to search your library for Timestream Navigator and put it into your graveyard.
4. Cast Timestream Navigator from your graveyard by paying 1.
5. Repeat each turn.

This clever loop locks down endless extra turns by continuously recycling Timestream Navigator from your library back to the battlefield. Once you have the city's blessing to satisfy the Navigator's activation requirement, you can pay its cost to tuck itself onto the bottom of your library and take an extra turn. That's where Cynical Loner does the heavy lifting: by utilizing its Survival ability during your second main phase while it's tapped, you tutor the Navigator straight into your graveyard. Finally, the passive permissions granted by Lurrus of the Dream-Den let you cast that low-mana creature right back out of your graveyard, ready to repeat the entire sequence on the next turn.
