How it works

1. Activate Timstream Navigator by paying 2, tapping it and putting it from the battlefield onto the bottom of your library, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
2. Declare Cynical Loner as an attacker, or tap Cynical Loner by any other method.
3. At the beginning of your second main phase, Cynical Loner triggers, causing you to search your library for Timestream Navigator and put it into your graveyard.
4. Cast Timestream Navigator from your graveyard by paying 1.
5. Repeat each turn.

This brilliant loop turns Muldrotha, the Gravetide into a temporal engine by leveraging the recursion of permanent types straight from your graveyard. Once you have achieved the city's blessing, Timestream Navigator can sacrifice itself to the bottom of your library to grant you an extra turn. From there, the survival ability of Cynical Loner does the heavy lifting during your second main phase by tutoring that very same Timestream Navigator straight into your graveyard. Muldrotha then allows you to replay the Navigator directly from the graveyard for just {1}{U}, setting you up to repeat the process every single turn for infinite turns and total control.
