Seismic Assault

How it works

1. Activate Seismic Assault by discarding a land card.
2. Slogurk triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
3. Resolve the Seismic Assault ability.
4. Repeat from step 1 two additional times.
5. Activate Slogurk by removing three +1/+1 counters from it, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
6. When Slogurk leaves the battlefield, it triggers, returning three land cards from your graveyard to your hand.
7. Cast Slogurk by paying E due to Primal Prayers.
8. When Slogurk enters, Guide of Souls triggers, causing you to get E and gain 1 life.
9. Repeat.

This ingenious loop turns a graveyard into a self-sustaining engine of destruction by using Seismic Assault to pitch land cards directly into your graveyard. Each discarded land triggers Slogurk, the Overslime to grow with +1/+1 counters, which you can then cash in to bounce Slogurk back to your hand and harvest those very same lands with its leaves-the-battlefield trigger. To complete the circle, Primal Prayers lets you recast Slogurk for a mere energy counter rather than its normal mana cost, while Guide of Souls fuels that energy requirement by generating a fresh token every time Slogurk re-enters the battlefield.
