How it works

1. Activate Ghostly Pilferer by discarding a land card.
2. Slogurk triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
3. Resolve the Ghostly Pilferer ability.
4. Repeat from step 1 two additional times.
5. Activate Slogurk by removing three +1/+1 counters from it, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
6. When Slogurk leaves the battlefield, it triggers, returning three land cards from your graveyard to your hand.
7. Cast Slogurk by paying E due to Primal Prayers.
8. When Slogurk enters, Aetherstorm Roc triggers, causing you to get E.
9. Repeat.

This intricate engine turns your graveyard and a steady stream of energy into an infinite loop of entering and leaving the battlefield. By using Ghostly Pilferer’s activated ability to repeatedly discard land cards, you trigger Slogurk, the Overslime to grow with +1/+1 counters while filling your graveyard with ammunition. Once Slogurk has gathered enough counters, you can bounce it back to your hand, triggering its leaves-the-battlefield ability to reclaim those discarded lands. From there, Primal Prayers steps in to let you recast Slogurk using energy instead of mana, which in turn causes Aetherstorm Roc to trigger upon entry and replenish your energy supply to keep the cycle spinning forever.
