How it works

1. Activate Lotus Ring's equip ability by paying 0, attaching it to the Knight.
2. Activate the Knight by tapping and sacrificing it, adding three mana of any color.
3. Cast the Knight from your graveyard by paying its mana cost.
4. Repeat.
5. If the Knight has mana value 2 or less, this combo nets infinite mana.

This clever loop turns the graveyard into your personal command zone for any cheap Knight, fueling itself infinitely if your creature costs two mana or less. The engine comes together thanks to Puresteel Paladin, whose metalcraft ability reduces your equipment costs to zero so you can repeatedly strap Lotus Ring onto your creature for free. Once the equipped Knight taps and sacrifices itself to the Ring's mana ability, Haakon, Stromgald Scourge steps in from the shadows to let you replay that fallen Knight straight out of your graveyard. Meanwhile, Rising of the Day grants the freshly recast Knight immediate haste, allowing it to tap and sacrifice itself all over again without missing a beat.
