How it works

  1. Activate Lotus Ring's equip ability by paying 0, attaching it to the Knight.
  2. Activate the Knight by tapping and sacrificing it, adding three mana of any color.
  3. Cast the Knight from your graveyard by paying its mana cost.
  4. Repeat.
  5. If the Knight has mana value 2 or less, this combo nets infinite mana.

This ingenious loop relies on a clever cost reduction and recursion engine to continuously churn out mana, death triggers, and storm count. With at least three artifacts on the battlefield, Puresteel Paladin's metalcraft static ability reduces Lotus Ring's equip cost to zero, allowing you to strap the artifact onto your sacrificed Knight for free. That Knight then taps to sacrifice itself and Lotus Ring's ability, netting three mana to recast the Knight right back out of your graveyard thanks to Haakon, Stromgald Scourge's unique permission. Finally, Tuktuk Rubblefort's static ability ensures your looping creature immediately gains haste, letting you repeat the cycle instantly if the Knight costs two mana or less.
