How it works

1. Activate Lotus Ring's equip ability by paying 0, attaching it to the Knight.
2. Activate the Knight by tapping and sacrificing it, adding three mana of any color.
3. Cast the Knight from your graveyard by paying its mana cost.
4. Repeat.
5. If the Knight has mana value 2 or less, this combo nets infinite mana.

Puresteel Paladin provides the crucial metalcraft static ability that reduces Lotus Ring's equip cost to zero, while Tannuk, Steadfast Second ensures your recycled threats are ready to act immediately with haste. Because Haakon, Stromgald Scourge allows you to continuously cast your Knight right back out of the graveyard after sacrificing it to the Lotus Ring for three mana, you can infinitely cycle the creature through zones.
