How it works

1. Activate an Equipment's equip ability by paying 0, attaching it to any creature you control except Puresteel Paladin or the creature that has One with the Kami attached.
2. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the creature with the Equipment attached, adding CC.
3. When the creature dies, One with the Kami triggers, creating a number of 1/1 Spirit creature tokens equal to that creature's power.
4. Repeat.

This clever engine turns the passive bonuses of **Puresteel Paladin** into a relentless loop of recycling and sacrifice. With metalcraft active, the Paladin grants your Equipment a free {0} equip cost, allowing you to constantly move hardware around to turn any ordinary creature into a modified threat. Once **One with the Kami** enchants one of those creatures, its death triggers will look at its power—boosted or modified by the attached gear—and flood your board with a swarm of 1/1 Spirit tokens. You then feed those spirits and the creature right into **Ashnod's Altar** to generate a steady stream of colorless mana, which can be funneled right back into recasting or re-equipping to keep the cycle spinning infinitely.
