How it works

1. Activate Blaring Recruiter by paying 2, creating a 1/1 Warrior creature token.

This clever loop lets you turn a humble Warrior into a mana-generating dynamo using a tightly wound engine. With Puresteel Paladin's metalcraft ability active, Lotus Ring's equip cost drops to zero, allowing you to instantly strap the artifact to the token created by Blaring Recruiter. You then tap and sacrifice that equipped creature to the Lotus Ring for three white mana, generating a net profit that easily fuels the Blaring Recruiter over and over again. Though Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded isn't strictly necessary for the mana loop itself, its presence grants haste to your creatures and cheat-code abilities for your hand, rounding out a powerful setup for formats like Commander and Legacy.
