How it works
- Activate Luminarch Ascension by paying 1, creating a 4/4 Angel creature token.
- Activate Lotus Ring's equip ability by paying 0 due to Puresteel Paladin, attaching it to the Angel.
- Activate the Angel by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
- Repeat.
- Once you have infinite mana, you may forego sacrificing the Angels.
This clever loop relies on Luminarch Ascension to continuously churn out 4/4 Angel creature tokens for just `{1}{W}`, powered by the mana you get back. Once your metalcraft is active, Puresteel Paladin drops the equip cost of Lotus Ring to zero, allowing you to instantly attach the ring to each newly minted token. You then immediately cash in that token by activating Lotus Ring's sacrifice ability, trading the creature for three mana of any color—more than enough to fund the next Ascension activation and leave you with a surplus. Meanwhile, Anger rests quietly in your graveyard to grant your entire army haste the moment you decide to keep the Angels instead of sacrificing them, letting you overwhelm opponents with an infinitely large, flying, hasty horde.
