How it works

1. Activate Luminarch Ascension by paying 1, creating a 4/4 Angel creature token.
2. Activate Lotus Ring's equip ability by paying 0 due to Puresteel Paladin, attaching it to the Angel.
3. Activate the Angel by tapping and sacrificing it, adding .
4. Repeat.
5. Once you have infinite mana, you may forego sacrificing the Angels.

This clever engine turns your mana into an unstoppable heavenly host by using Puresteel Paladin's metalcraft ability to drop Lotus Ring's equip cost down to zero. With the equipment sliding onto each new creation for free, your Angel tokens generated by Luminarch Ascension can instantly sacrifice themselves to Lotus Ring for a profit of three mana.
