How it works

1. Activate Blasting Station by tapping it and sacrificing Ambitious Aetherborn.
2. When Ambitious Aetherborn dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Ambitious Aetherborn enters, its fabricate ability and Blasting Station trigger.
4. Resolve the Ambitious Aetherborn trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
5. Resolve the Blasting Station trigger, untapping it.
6. Resolve the Blasting Station ability from step 1.
7. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns a simple sacrifice outlet into a lethal engine by leveraging the back side of Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn // Isilu, Carrier of Twilight, which grants persist to your other nontoken creatures. When you sacrifice Ambitious Aetherborn to Blasting Station, it deals damage and immediately triggers its own return with a -1/-1 counter thanks to that static persist ability. Fortunately, Ambitious Aetherborn's fabricate ability lets you place a +1/+1 counter upon re-entry, which immediately neutralizes the existing -1/-1 counter via state-based actions so the cycle can repeat indefinitely. Meanwhile, Blasting Station happily untaps on every single entry to fuel the endless barrage of damage.
