How it works

1. Activate Goblin Bombardment by sacrificing Ambitious Aetherborn.
2. When Ambitious Aetherborn dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Ambitious Aetherborn enters, its fabricate ability triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
4. Resolve the Goblin Bombardment ability.
5. Repeat.

This loop turns Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn // Isilu, Carrier of Twilight into an engine of endless resurrection, using its back face (Isilu, Carrier of Twilight) to grant persist to Ambitious Aetherborn. Whenever Goblin Bombardment hurls Ambitious Aetherborn into the fray, persist brings it right back with a -1/-1 counter, which is instantly neutralized by the +1/+1 counter from Ambitious Aetherborn's own fabricate ability. Because these two counters annihilate each other as state-based actions, the aetherborn is left pristine and ready to be sacrificed all over again.
